“gifts” was a week-long series of instances that sprout from a shared view on sound, performance, and documentation. by me & Teemu Ruissalo
The idea was to play score-based material assigned to each of the artists every other day. The material — left-overs were then installed in the space in various congenial forms of in situ documentation. Both artists work with paper, audio, spoken instances, and photos. Most of the material used to carry on these acts, were also left out in the space with no clear foundation. The ephemeral courtesies were also variable, given their time of perpetration and interaction with different mundane substances.
